Keeper of the Swans CW: those go here, or brief description
[ Throughout the entire festival, Harold can be found periodically puzzling over the scavenger hunt set up by his court. He's almost irresistibly drawn to intellectual puzzles normally, so the heightened curiosity he has now makes it inevitable. He keeps getting distracted even just trying to walk down a corridor when he sees some new hint. Run across him just about anywhere trying to solve a riddle, dressed increasingly, day by day, in more elaborate Fae fashion. It always has a subdued feel compared to what the Aesti go around in, but as Harold gets more confident with his potion-making, he can make better trades for clothing.
Alongside him is Bear, his protection dog who for once doesn't need to pretend to be a pet. There's no leash in sight for the Belgian Malinois standing attentively at Harold's side, alert and ears pricked where Harold himself is currently lost in thought.
Normally it's hard to sneak up on him, but he just can't figure this one out...
That mysterious appearing and disappearing painting is especially getting to him. There's enough credible stories of it that he's sure it does exist, but he can't find the damn thing. Perhaps he's even asking you if you've seen it. ]
